WHEN THE NIGHT COMES [INTRO — distant choir, funeral bells, low heartbeat] The sun is dying… The sky is turning red… And something ancient has opened its eyes. [VERSE 1 — slow, ominous] Black clouds crawling across the moon, Graves are opening way too soon. Cold wind screaming through the trees, Something ancient whispers— “Kneel.” Red eyes watching from the fog, Footsteps echo through the dark. Every candle starts to die, As the dead begin to rise. [PRE-CHORUS — massive orchestral build] Hear the bells… They’re calling you. Feel the earth… It’s breaking through. The night has waited long enough— Now open your eyes… [CHORUS — EPIC] WHEN THE NIGHT COMES! There’ll be nowhere left to run! When the moon turns crimson And the blood begins to come! WHEN THE NIGHT COMES! Hear the heavens scream! Every monster in the darkness Was once somebody’s dream! WE ARE THE NIGHT! WE ARE THE HUNT! [VERSE 2 — heavier] Church doors hanging from their chains, Black roses blooming in the rain. Silver crosses buried deep, Something underneath the earth refuses sleep. She walks through fire without a sound, Bare feet never touch the ground. Blood-red eyes and porcelain skin, The nightmare finally walks in. [PRE-CHORUS — choir + rising guitars] No more hiding… No more praying… No salvation… No escaping… [BREAKDOWN — gigantic] LIGHTS OUT! HEARTS STOP! LET THE WHOLE WORLD WATCH THE SUN DROP! BLOOD MOON! DEAD STARS! TONIGHT WE FIND OUT WHO WE REALLY ARE! [BRIDGE — ethereal, haunting] I heard the angels cry my name… I watched the heavens burn away… If this is hell— Then let me reign… [FINAL CHORUS — full orchestra + metal] WHEN THE NIGHT COMES! There’ll be nowhere left to run! When the moon turns crimson And the blood begins to come! WHEN THE NIGHT COMES! Let the darkness sing! The dead are rising from the earth To crown the night its king! WE ARE THE NIGHT! WE ARE THE HUNT! [FINAL BREAKDOWN — screamed] NO SUN. NO GOD. NO MERCY. ONLY NIGHT. [OUTRO — heartbeat + whisper] The sun will rise again… Just not for you.
