This came out so good -- the music and the way the lyrics are sang is so interesting -- the repeated "I dreamt" sounds unexpected in a way to me. I really loved this and plan to take a look at your other thematic songs as soon as I can. Thank for sharing with us your dream <3

I wanted a repetitive phrase to represent a dream that keeps on going while you’re in it… then it suddenly ends. The feeling of dying is so weird to experience— the sudden freak out, then the acceptance, then that peace.

What an absolute experience! The complete drop took me by surprise. I remember when my gallbladder exploded. There was about one minute where the pain killers weren't keeping me under and I remember having a lot of these thoughts, myself. Thankfully, they pumped be full of the stuff again and I never had to finish those thoughts. Man, your writing brings up all kinds of memories today.
