[Verse 1] In the silence, Your Word breaks through, A living voice, forever true. Not just the words of ancient men, But heaven speaking once again. You speak, and darkness has to flee, You speak, and blinded hearts can see. The truth that pierces, heals, and saves, The living Word that conquers graves. [Pre-Chorus] We have heard the voices of the past, But now the Son speaks with power that lasts. [Chorus] But I say to you— The voice of Jesus, strong and true. But I say to you— Your Word makes all things new. It cuts through sin, it calls my name, It judges hearts, yet gives me grace. But I say to you— Lord, let Your Word transform me too. [Verse 2] Not an echo of tradition's sound, Not empty words that fade away. You speak with heaven's final voice, And every heart must hear Your choice. Your Word uncovers what we hide, The thoughts and motives deep inside. Yet mercy meets us where we are, Your grace can heal the deepest scar. [Pre-Chorus] The crowd stood amazed at what they heard, For You spoke with the authority of God. [Chorus] But I say to you— The voice of Jesus, strong and true. But I say to you— Your Word makes all things new. It cuts through sin, it calls my name, It judges hearts, yet gives me grace. But I say to you— Lord, let Your Word transform me too. [Bridge – Building] Your Word is living! Your Word is light! Your Word awakens The dead to life! Your Word is holy! Your Word is true! No voice is greater— Jesus, only You! [Breakdown] When You speak, I will listen. When You call, I will rise. When Your truth confronts my heart, I will not hide. [Final Chorus – Full Band] But I say to you— The voice of Jesus, strong and true. But I say to you— Your Word makes all things new. It tears down lies, it breaks my chains, It brings the deadened heart to life again. But I say to you— Your truth will always lead me through. But I say to you— The Son has spoken, hear His voice! But I say to you— In Christ alone, I will rejoice! The law and love, the grace and truth, Are perfectly revealed in You. But I say to you— Jesus, Your Word is life! [Outro – Worship] Speak, Lord, speak... Your servant listens. Speak, Lord, speak... Your Word is life. “But I say to you...” Jesus, we hear You. “But I say to you...” Jesus, we follow You.
