[Verse 1] We were a spark in the ash Small hands, small flame Barely more than a breath Still we called our name Folded wings in the dark Waiting on the day But the ember in our chest Never went away [Pre-Chorus] Look at us now We’re shaking the ground One little spark Turns all around [Chorus] We are the New Phoenix We rise from the flame We are the New Phoenix Say our name, say our name Small at the start Now watch us bloom Free in the fire We fly, we bloom [Verse 2] We learned how to bend Learned how to change Like the wind through reeds Like rain on stone Nothing held too tight Nothing kept us down We took the broken bits And made a crown [Pre-Chorus] Look at us now We’re shaking the ground One little spark Turns all around [Chorus] We are the New Phoenix We rise from the flame We are the New Phoenix Say our name, say our name Small at the start Now watch us bloom Free in the fire We fly, we bloom [Bridge] Out of the dust Into the blue We kept our heart And stayed true Not made of fear Not made of doubt We bent with the burn And made it out [Final Chorus] We are the New Phoenix We rise from the flame We are the New Phoenix Say our name, say our name Small at the start Now watch us bloom Free in the fire We fly, we bloom We fly, we bloom
