A Light for Every Nation-Luke 2.30,32

Verse 1 An old man waited through the years, Holding fast through joy and tears. Every promise, every prayer, Led him to Christ the newborn Savior there. Tiny hands, yet heaven's King, Peace no earthly crown could bring. In that child the world would see God's unfailing victory. Pre-Chorus Every shadow starts to fade, Every promise now displayed. Chorus Jesus, You are the Light for every nation, Hope that shines through every generation. Eyes have seen salvation's dawn, Love that carries all creation on. Glory rising, mercy flowing, Every heart and soul now knowing. Christ, the everlasting flame, All the world will bless Your name. Verse 2 Mary pondered every word, Joseph listened, deeply stirred. Ancient voices now fulfilled, Every longing gently stilled. Not for one alone You came, Calling every tribe by name. Grace would cross the highest wall, God's redeeming love for all. Bridge From Israel to every shore, Christ's light opens every door. Every language, every land, Held forever in His hand. No more darkness, no more fear, Heaven's promise now is here. King of glory, Prince of Peace, May our songs forever cease... Only long enough to hear Every heart proclaim Christ near. Final Chorus Jesus, You are the Light for every nation, Hope that shines through every generation. Eyes have seen salvation's dawn, Lord, You are God's own Son. Glory to the King eternal, Love unending, truth supernal. Let the nations lift Your praise, Walking in His holy rays. Outro Light of heaven, shine on me. Light of heaven, set us free. Every eye will one day see— Jesus Christ, eternally.
