Commence We were passing by Hoping we can fly Yet no one knew What we been through Recharged and renewed Reaching out within a shattered moment Seeking out and Longing to be potent She whispered goodbye Couldn't help but cry When I think of it I sigh Deep pain in the eyes Now we can see through lies I didn't count the cost Burning a bridge we crossed Rescuing the found and lost We crept up to sleep To swim in dreams so deep Knowledge we sought to keep But who can say when The stars fell and then They arrived silent As time is constant Ever flowing brook of life Beneath the blade and knife We escaped the lull and strife Of another world lost and forgotten As we drink this strange concoction Thoughts drift to and fro As light dances within the soul I wanted to let go Yet she didn't know
