Suffering is near the oldest tale told, but the suffering of Jōb, is most likely an hundred fold, not to diminish suffering you've felt, none can know the pain you've felt! But imagine the trials of this most righteous man, His wealth rivaled kings, of faraway lands, but his story, his tale, in the Bible is told, not to exalt, but learn how God's workings unfold! Imagine Jōb's wife, what grief did she feel, all she had loved, all she had known, torn from her life, was a very big deal, and we wonder at her words, she in desperation declared,... Hold thou still to thy integrity (to faith is meant, I truly believe), curse God and die, was her desperation, her heartbreaking plea, her faith truly shaken, shattered was she! Love knows no bounds, we hear in Jōb's loving reply, you speak as foolish women, (who have no hope), shall we receive good only, and only our hope, shall we not receive evil?, this Jōb to her spoke! Yes through all his trials, suffering and pain, He spoke no evil, he cast no blame, he may not have known, this was a test, but God trusted Job, in his righteousness, and He too had to suffer, for He truly Loved Jōb, as He watched and waited, as He tested Jōb!
