[Intro] [PIANO ONLY] [Music] [Verse] [PIANO ONLY] In the town of Bethlehem, In a manger He was born. He was sleeping in the hay, In swaddling clothes He was adorned. All the people gathered round, On display for all to see. He was the miracle foretold He was born to set us free. [Chorus] [PIANO ONLY] It was foretold, That He would come. Bringing salvation, To everyone. It was foretold, That He would live. And of the glory, That He would give. It was foretold. [Verse] [PIANO ONLY] For years he traveled the land, Meeting others far and near. Spreading the word of the one true God, To all those that would hear. Where there were miracles needed, There were miracles made. Wherever it was needed, His hands were laid. [Chorus] [PIANO ONLY] It was foretold, That He would share. The word of God, Everywhere. It was foretold, With time gone by. That Our Savior Jesus. He would die. It was foretold. [Bridge] [PIANO ONLY] On that cross He was placed, Once again on display. As He breathed His final breaths, They all heard him say. Father please forgive them, They know not what they do. Then He died upon that cross, For everyone to view. [Chorus] [PIANO ONLY] It was foretold, His last breath. That He would die, A criminals death. It was foretold, On His funeral bed. He rolled the stone, He rose from the dead. It was foretold. [Finale]
