Seven - I Am With You Still
[© 2026 Daniel Claessens] [Spoken word – deep, warm, slow, divine presence] [Soft orchestral intro – distant strings, low drones, slow piano notes] [Voice – very calm, deep, intimate] You were never made for perfection… but for choosing. Each step you take— each word you speak— each silence you keep… is yours. I gave you the freedom to wander… and the strength to return. You will fall— yes, you will fall. Not once, not twice… but many times between doubt and desire. And still… you are not lost. For I do not measure you by the ground beneath your knees, but by the courage with which you rise again. [Music slowly builds – warm strings entering] You ask for a sign… a voice… a hand to guide you through the dark. But I have always been there— in the quiet pull toward kindness, in the whisper that says: “Do good… even when it is hard.” You choose your path. This life is yours to shape. But when you turn to Me— not in fear, but in truth— I will meet you there. Not to judge… but to steady your hands. Not to condemn… but to lift your heart when it forgets its light. [Subtle swell – choir-like pads without real choir] You are human. Made of dust… and wonder. You will stumble between shadow and grace, between hunger and love. This is your nature. But it is not your excuse. Each moment calls you to choose again— the gentler word, the open hand, the path that builds instead of breaks. And when you fail… (as you will) do not turn away. Turn toward Me. [Music softens briefly – intimate moment] I will not ask you to be flawless. I will ask you to believe— in goodness, in mercy, in the quiet strength of a heart that tries again. For faith is not found in never falling— but in rising with love still in your hands. [Final orchestral rise – emotional but controlled] Hold on to what is good. Even when the world forgets. Choose light— even when shadows feel stronger. Walk in truth— even when it costs you. For these are the virtues that carry you home. And beyond all that is broken… beyond all that fades… they will be your shelter. your strength. your salvation. [Music slows – almost silence] You are free… But you are not alone. [Very soft ending] I am with you… still.
