V6-MINI

[Chorus]
And I saw a great star, blazing like a torch
Fall from the path of vanity toward the southern sky
Sweeping across the heavens to declare the ruin of earthly powers
And when the moon was darkened in the northern quadrant
And no benevolent star arose to roll back the wrath
A great voice sounded from celestial assembly crying
The decree has gone forth
The sovereign must be struck down
For the scales of justice demand a balancing

[Verse 2]
Then I saw the true king strip himself his royal robes
He took off his crown and the signet
And clad himself in the garments of a humble farmer
Hiding his face from the wrath of the firmament
And the chief exorcist, the servant of the mysteries
Brought forth another captive, a man condemned and of no standing
They washed this man and anointed his head with oil
And closed him in the purple robes of the sovereign
Seating him upon the high throne
And they bound the tablets of the evil omens to the hem of his garment

[Chorus]
He became the denanu, the substitute
Taken upon his own flesh the curse meant for the royal bloodline
For a season he sat as king
Until the appointed hour had come
And the sword fell upon him, and he went down to his fate
Carrying the doom of the empire into the dust of the earth

[Bridge]
And I understood the inescapable economy of the underworld
The law of the deep abyss, a life for a life
For even as the ancient queen of heaven descended into the darkness
She could not rise again to the light
Unless another was given to the shadow in her stead
Thus the ledger of heaven was balanced
The true king was purified
And the wrath of the stars passed over them

[Verse 1] I, John, your brother and companion in the tribulation Was in the spirit as I beheld the celestial firmament Not as an empty void, but as a great scroll upon Which the watchers inscribed the fates of empires And I looked, the fixed stars pastured In the night sky as a quiet flock But moving among them were the wandering stars The wild sheep of the heavens Whose erratic paths brought terror to the kingdoms of men [Chorus] And I saw a great star, blazing like a torch Fall from the path of vanity toward the southern sky Sweeping across the heavens to declare the ruin of earthly powers And when the moon was darkened in the northern quadrant And no benevolent star arose to roll back the wrath A great voice sounded from celestial assembly crying The decree has gone forth The sovereign must be struck down For the scales of justice demand a balancing [Verse 2] Then I saw the true king strip himself his royal robes He took off his crown and the signet And clad himself in the garments of a humble farmer Hiding his face from the wrath of the firmament And the chief exorcist, the servant of the mysteries Brought forth another captive, a man condemned and of no standing They washed this man and anointed his head with oil And closed him in the purple robes of the sovereign Seating him upon the high throne And they bound the tablets of the evil omens to the hem of his garment [Chorus] He became the denanu, the substitute Taken upon his own flesh the curse meant for the royal bloodline For a season he sat as king Until the appointed hour had come And the sword fell upon him, and he went down to his fate Carrying the doom of the empire into the dust of the earth [Bridge] And I understood the inescapable economy of the underworld The law of the deep abyss, a life for a life For even as the ancient queen of heaven descended into the darkness She could not rise again to the light Unless another was given to the shadow in her stead Thus the ledger of heaven was balanced The true king was purified And the wrath of the stars passed over them
