[Verse 1] You open Your hand, and the hungry find a table A coat on a shoulder, a place where hope is stable I see my neighbor carrying more than they can bear So I bring what I have, and I meet them there [Pre-Chorus] Love is not a promise kept far away It takes a little courage and gives today [Chorus] Let me be an open hand A little bread, a helping plan What I have was never mine alone Share the warmth and bring them home When the hard days fill the land We will rise and help each other stand God is pleased when love is freely shown No one has to face the road alone [Verse 2] When the storm came calling, boxes crossed the miles Food and folded clothing, carried with a smile Hands became a shelter, hearts became a bridge Generous in quiet ways, we gave what we could give [Pre-Chorus] Not for praise or a name in the air Just because compassion meets us there [Chorus] Let me be an open hand A little bread, a helping plan What I have was never mine alone Share the warmth and bring them home When the hard days fill the land We will rise and help each other stand God is pleased when love is freely shown No one has to face the road alone [Bridge] Do good, share what you have Turn a small gift into a path A meal, a blanket, a listening heart Can be the place where healing starts Every living thing can feel The kindness that makes broken places heal [Final Chorus] Let me be an open hand A little bread, a helping plan What I have was never mine alone Share the warmth and bring them home When the hard days fill the land We will rise and help each other stand God is pleased when love is freely shown No one has to face the road alone [Outro] You open Your hand So we open ours You open Your hand And hope returns
