Race the sunset, ride through the snow, Before the shadows of the castle grow! Intercept the carriage, break the vampire's ring, Before the night re-crowns the shadow king! The blades are drawn, the final hour is nigh, Under the bleeding Transylvanian sky! It is done... the steel has pierced my chest... The long centuries of hunger... finally at rest. Mina... look at me, look beyond the beast, From this immortal curse, let my soul be released. Give me the peace that the heavens denied, Let the light return where the shadow died. I have crossed the oceans... now I cross the grave... By my hand, my love, you are the one I save. From the blood and the ash, from the endless night, We return the dragon to the holy light! Sleep now, my Vlad, the long winter is over, The gates of the past will be closed evermore. The cross is washed clean, the river runs clear, There is no more hunger, there is no more fear. Ab-so-lu-ti-o...Pa-cem...Lu-me-n... Ab-so-lu-ti-o...Pa-cem...Lu-me-n...
