[Verse 1] To go or not to go He keeps it tucked below One foot at the door One foot on the floor He says, “I’m fine, I’m cool” But the doubt won’t move Turns it over slow What he think is not to know [Pre-Chorus] He circles it twice Never says it right Hands on the wheel Heart in the sky [Chorus] To go or not to go He don’t even know To go or not to go That’s the way it goes What he think is not to know What he think is not to know To go or not to go He don’t even know [Verse 2] Late on the kitchen tile Phone face down for a while He reads the same old sign Then crosses it out in his mind Everybody wants a sign He wants one that tells him time But the answer stays low What he think is not to know [Pre-Chorus] He circles it twice Never says it right Hands on the wheel Heart in the sky [Chorus] To go or not to go He don’t even know To go or not to go That’s the way it goes What he think is not to know What he think is not to know To go or not to go He don’t even know [Bridge] Maybe the door stays cracked Maybe he won’t look back Maybe the thing he needs Is the step he can’t see [Final Chorus] To go or not to go He don’t even know To go or not to go That’s the way it goes What he think is not to know What he think is not to know To go or not to go He don’t even know
