Head Full of Sorrow
There’s a weight that whispas... Pulls me lo-wuh. Shadows stretch where the daylight won’t go-wuh. The waters are rising... And the cold winds blo-wuh. I tried to outrun it... YEAH! I tried to let it faaaade. But sorrow’s a mirra-wuh... And I’m the clay it maaaade! HEAD FULL OF SORROW-WUH! HEART LIKE A STONE! DROWNING IN SILENCE! SINKING ALONE! Every step fo-wuhd... the embers just gro-wuh! HEAD FULL OF SORROW-WUH! NOWHERE TO GO... YEAH! I built my altar from the ash of regret. Washing the sins that I'll neva forget-wuh. Trapped in the wilderness... Of my own flesh... OH-YEAH! I tried to forgive it. I tried to clean the stain. But justice demands... That I carry the blaaame! HEAD FULL OF SORROW-WUH! HEART LIKE A STONE! DROWNING IN SILENCE! SINKING ALONE! Every step fo-wuhd... the embers just gro-wuh! HEAD FULL OF SORROW-WUH! NOWHERE TO GO! Is there a valley... for a flicka of grace? Could I learn to find peace... in this broken place? If I loosen my grip on the chains I kno-wuh... Would I drift in the daaark... OR FINALLY LET GO-WUH?! FINALLY LET GOOOOOO-YEAH! HEAD FULL OF SORROW-WUH! (Sorrow-wuh!) HEART LIKE A STONE! Whispering softly... "I’m not alone." (NOT ALONE!) Every step fo-wuhd... A SEED I CAN SO-WUH! HEAD FULL OF SORROW-WUH! STILL I CAN GROOOOW-wuh! Still I can gro-wuh... Nowhere to go-wuh. But I can grow... yeah.
