[Intro] When the explanation gets complicated, Simplify the question: Who gets paid? Who gains power? Who benefits? A Million Made. [Hook] When the story don’t make sense, ask who benefits, Who collects the check while we’re arguing the differences? Fear spreads fast, but somebody sold the medicine— Follow the incentive. Tell me who benefits. When the rules keep changing, ask who benefits, Who controls the problem and the promised way of fixing it? Motive wears a mask until the money identifies it— Follow the incentive. Tell me who benefits. [Verse 1] Breaking news breaking us in pieces for engagement, Every headline engineered to manufacture agitation. Calm facts whisper while the panic gets promoted, Truth may take an hour—fear is ready in a moment. Left gets one villain, right receives another, Both remain distracted while the sponsors count the numbers. Arguments increase, advertising rates recover— We’re divided in the comments; they’re united under profit. Algorithm doesn’t care if information is accurate, It measures every second that emotion keeps you captured. Anger holds attention, so the anger gets a platform; Reason leaves the room because reflection hurts the cash flow. They show the wound repeatedly, never offer rehabilitation, Trauma turns to content, pain becomes entertainment. Every public breakdown gets a commercial in the middle— If suffering stopped trending, would they help us solve the issue? I’m not claiming every headline hides a secret operation, Sometimes chaos comes from greed without coordination. You don’t need a basement full of strangers planning evil— Just align enough incentives. Watch corruption build itself. [Verse 2] Shortage in the market, prices climb before the reason, Record-breaking profits somehow follow every crisis. Temporary increase becomes permanent by evening; When supply returns to normal, costs develop missing feelings. Company says labor is the largest obligation, Never says executives receive the largest compensation. Cut another worker, give the rest a motivation speech— Doing more with less means someone pockets what you didn’t receive. Rent consumes the paycheck, interest eats the balance, Credit offers rescue, then collects upon the panic. Every emergency creates another monthly payment— Poverty gets punished because wealth can buy forgiveness. Education tells the broke that knowledge is the exit, Then surrounds the door with forty years of student debt. Hospital restores you, sends a bill that makes you sick again— Every basic human need attracted someone selling entrance. Working people fight about whose struggle is deserving, While the ones who set the wages never enter the discussion. We compete for crumbs beneath a table overloaded— They don’t fear the hungry. They fear the hungry getting organized. [Bridge – Minimal Drums] Who gains from the anger? Who profits from the doubt? Who sells the protection When they’re finished spreading fear around? Don’t just follow statements. Follow ownership and interest. The loudest explanation May conceal the clearest motive. [Verse 3 – Double-Time] Politician sells concern, contributor buys access, Public words say service, private calendars say business. Policy arrives wearing patriotic presentation; Read beyond the title—see who helped compose the language. Charity can help, but charity can hide subtraction: Take a billion from the workers, give a million for reaction. Camera catches kindness, never captures how it’s funded— Generosity looks different when the giver caused the hunger. In relationships, too—ask who profits from confusion, Who gains control whenever you keep doubting your conclusions? Who calls every boundary selfish, every question disrespectful? Somebody needs you guilty so their access stays protected. Even I must ask it when my anger feels convenient: Do I want the truth, or do I want to win disagreement? Am I seeking understanding or collecting ammunition? Ego gets rewarded when accountability goes missing. So “who benefits?” applies to every side, including mine, Every theory needs inspection, every motive needs a light. Follow evidence completely; don’t let suspicion replace it— Motive wore a mask. Money recognized the face. [Final Hook] When the story don’t make sense, ask who benefits, Who collects the check while we’re arguing the differences? Don’t confuse coincidence with proof of hidden influence— Follow facts and incentives. See where both of them intersect. Who gets paid? Who gains control? Who keeps us disconnected? A Million Made
