Out of the Darkness

Sharp claws. Red mud. Iron instincts craving blood. Cold steel. War drum. Chasing shadows till we're numb. We built armor. Built a wall. Proudly waiting for the fall. Blind power. Heavy tread. Laying down in iron beds. Night storms. Dark fears. Sowing centuries of tears. Cause returns. Effect takes aim. Fueling the cosmic flame. Out of the darkness, step into light! Breaking the cycle of eternal night. The animal fades as the human awakes, Burying armor for all our sakes! Steel strikes. Flesh breaks. Learning from our own mistakes. Bitter harvest. Sour fruit. Pain strikes down the ancient root. Karma-waves crash the shore. We don't want to fight no more. Soft skin. Open heart. Tearing old regimes apart. Night storms. Dark fears. Washing clear two thousand years. Cause returns. Effect takes aim. Extinguishing the violent flame! Out of the darkness, step into light! Breaking the cycle of eternal night. The animal fades as the human awakes, Burying armor for all our sakes! Forgive debts. Lay down sword. Love becomes the final word. Mind clears. Vision gains. Unlocking the heavy chains. Compassion sparks. Reason shines. Crossing evolutionary lines. From beast to spirit, raw to refined. Out of the darkness, step into light! Breaking the cycle of eternal night. The animal fades as the human awakes, Burying armor for all our sakes! No more mud. No more blood. Sun rises. Darkness dies.
