[INTRO] Ladies and gentlemen... Welcome to the parade. No horses. No floats. No dignitaries. Just bad decisions, loud bass, and one motherfucker wearing a paper crown. WHIIIIIIIIIIIIIDESIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE! [HOOK] Paper crown parade, make way for the king, Everybody step aside when the bassline swings, Khakis pressed crooked, Carhartt on the frame, Whole damn neighborhood knows the motherfucker's name. Paper crown parade, Hear the snare go crack, West Coast in the low end, East Coast in the back, Paper crown parade, Let the whole block know, I'm marching with a microphone while the fictional smoke blows. [VERSE 1] I arrived at the corner like a mayor with no city, Crown made out of notebook paper, looking cheap but looking gritty. One shoe untied, one eyebrow raised, I walked through the crowd like the rent had been paid. Somebody yelled, "King!" I said, "Obviously." Somebody asked, "Where's your royal army?" I pointed at the DJ. "That's my cavalry." He scratched the record. I nodded. "Excellent." Now the whole parade got bass in its bloodstream, Brass section chopped like a nightmare marching-band dream. No polished limousine. No velvet rope. Just an old neighborhood street and a microphone. I got the fictional .45 in the mythology tucked away, But the only thing getting fired is a punchline today. That's the rule of the kingdom. Every battle is verbal. Every weapon is a metaphor. Every crown is disposable. If the verse ain't sharp, then the throne ain't stable. I don't need ten bodyguards to make the character intimidating. I need ten syllables that make another rapper start calculating. "Wait... How'd he rhyme that?" That's the reaction I'm chasing. Not fear. Not fame. Not validation. Just that moment when the listener realizes the whole damn line was engineered. That's penmanship. That's architecture. That's why I keep the parade moving. [VERSE 2] Now the marching drums echo between the apartment buildings, Brass hits sounding like the whole damn block caught feelings. I got a notebook tucked underneath my arm, Ink stains on the page like lyrical fingerprints. That's my charm. No entourage. No choreographed dance. Just one raspy voice and an unnecessarily arrogant stance. I walk past the barbecue. Somebody's playing old funk. I nod to the rhythm. Then the snare goes— BAM! Now I'm back in battle mode. Motherfucker, you don't want this. Your verse got no traction. Mine got internal rhymes doing laps inside the caption. You brought a punchline. I brought the aftermath. You brought one metaphor. I brought a paragraph. You got surface-level flexing. I got layers underneath. You hear the first meaning. Then discover the second when you repeat. That's why the paper crown fits. It's funny and fragile. Looks like a joke until the writing gets tactical. I can turn a cul-de-sac into a Roman coliseum. Turn a lawn chair into a throne. Turn a bad afternoon into an entire museum. Smoke hangs around the streetlights. Bass rattles through the glass. A fictional monarch walking past with a crooked-ass mask. Not hiding my identity. Amplifying the absurdity. The character is ridiculous. The lyricism isn't. That's the separation. That's the trick. Make the costume stupid. Make the bars fucking sick. [BRIDGE] Drums marching. Bass crawling. Brass screaming. Crowd calling. Paper crown. Head high. Whole parade passing by. [VERSE 3] Now somebody brought a float made of cardboard and tape. Somebody else made a throne out of an old wooden crate. I looked at it and laughed. "That's supposed to be mine?" They said, "Your Majesty, please respect the design." I said, "Fine." Then I climbed on top with the microphone raised. The DJ chopped a sample and the whole crowd swayed. This ain't royalty. It's theater. This ain't power. It's paper. This ain't conquest. It's wordplay with a little extra flavor. I'm the fictional king of a kingdom built from phrases. Every block is another chapter. Every beat is another basis. And the crown? Still paper. Could fall apart in the rain. But the verse? That's laminated. That's permanent. That's why I don't confuse props with accomplishment. The outfit might get attention. The writing earns acknowledgement. So let the parade roll. Let the brass blast. Let the snare crack hard enough to shake the fucking past. Let the smoke drift. Let the night breathe. Let the DJ cut the record when I finish these— WHIIIIIIIIIIIIIDESIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE! Now everybody scream: PAPER CROWN! [FINAL HOOK] Paper crown parade, make way for the king, Everybody step aside when the bassline swings, Khakis pressed crooked, Carhartt on the frame, Whole damn neighborhood knows the motherfucker's name. Paper crown parade, Hear the snare go crack, West Coast in the low end, East Coast in the back, Paper crown parade, Let the whole block know, I'm marching with a microphone while the fictional smoke blows. [OUTRO] Parade over. Crown still on. Float falling apart. Bass still knocking. That's royalty. Fontucky style. No castle required. DJ— CUT.
