[Verse 1] I read an old document, written plain and bright It spoke about the people holding sovereign right Not kings above the nation or power out of sight It said public interest stands in the light [Verse 2] Sara studies history, searching every page Looking through the records gathered age by age Asking what the laws meant before the modern stage Putting facts before us rather than just rage [Chorus] Read the Claim of Right and make your own decision Study every document with independent vision Freedom starts with knowledge, not anger or division That's the road to change through lawful precision [Verse 3] Salvo says the people have a constitutional voice Self determination is a democratic choice Learning from the evidence above the daily noise Knowledge is the tool to help a nation rejoice [Verse 4] No shouting at opponents, no hatred in the street Just careful information placed before our feet A case built from research the working people meet Truth survives the test when evidence is complete [Chorus] Read the Claim of Right and make your own decision Study every document with independent vision Freedom starts with knowledge, not anger or division That's the road to change through lawful precision ©2026 Trevor Swistchew.
