[Verse] In the shadow of the night we gather round Whispering our prayers barely making a sound In the silence of the room faith is found We hold on to hope where love abounds [Verse 2] Chains cannot bind what the heart can see We lift our voices in a fervent plea In our darkest hour locked away like he We trust in God's power to set us all free [Chorus] We pray for the freedom we cannot feel For the ones in chains this world can't heal With hands held high and knees that kneel In this room of faith we make our appeal [Verse 3] Together we stand with a purpose true Believing prisoners will be free anew For every lock and every bar we break through Through every prayer our spirits renew [Bridge] An angel's touch a miracle unseen Faith like Peter's in a fervent dream We hold God's light through darkness it gleams We see walls crumble like an unending stream [Chorus] We pray for the freedom we cannot feel For the ones in chains this world can't heal With hands held high and knees that kneel In this room of faith we make our appeal
