Hymn of the Second Period

An excellent performance by our goaltender once again made itself felt, turning aside multiple shots. The valiant knights of the Holy Flannel once more guarded the sanctuary of the crease against the forces of the oily opponents. The banner of the Holy Flannel snapped in the wind on the power play. Saint Ivan Demidov, assisted by Juraj Slafkovský and Lane Hutson. First mystical goal. Saint Ivan opens for us the gate of celestial joy in the second period. Go Habs Go! And behold, Joseph Veleno piously scores his second goal of the season, unassisted. The Canadiens rise to a second goal: two to zero. The Holy Flannel played excellent hockey. Steadfastness and mystical perseverance take hold in a meaningful way. O Torchbearers, O Habs of perseverance. Go Habs Go, Alleluia, Alleluia!
