2 Corinthians Paul an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God To the church of God in Corinth with all the saints Grace and peace to you from God our Father And the Lord Jesus Christ who never faints Blessed be the God of all comfort Who comforts us in every tribulation So that we may comfort those in any trouble With the comfort we ourselves receive from heaven’s station We are afflicted in every way but not crushed Perplexed but not driven to despair Persecuted but not forsaken Struck down but not destroyed we declare We have this treasure in jars of clay To show that the surpassing power belongs to God Though outwardly wasting away Inwardly we are renewed day by day If anyone is in Christ he is a new creation The old has passed the new has come All this is from God who reconciled us Through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation We are ambassadors for Christ As though God were making His appeal through us Be reconciled to God we implore you For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us A thorn in the flesh was given to keep me humble Three times I pleaded for it to depart But He said to me My grace is sufficient for you For My power is made perfect in weakness of heart I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses So that the power of Christ may rest upon me For when I am weak then I am strong His strength is enough for every need I see Thanks be to God for His inexpressible gift And for the grace that abounds in every trial May the love of God the grace of our Lord And the fellowship of the Holy Spirit never fail 2 Corinthians… 2 Corinthians… 2 Corinthians… 2 Corinthians
