Merry Christmas My Friend

[Intro] Merry Christmas, gather ‘round, let’s share in the light, Hearts are warmed by the joy of this magical night. [Verse 1] M is for my father, oh how he shines in the skies, Living up in heaven, and watching with loving eyes. E is for the earth, our lessons unfold, Every moment a treasure, every story retold. [Pre-Chorus] R is for the Bible, read it every day, It’s a map on this journey that helps us find our way. R is for the rest we find, as the day fades away, Dreams wrapped in blessings, that holds us at bay. [Chorus] Merry Christmas, my friend, through the laughter and the cheer, We celebrate the love that’s forever drawn near. C is for Christ, our Savior who came, Oh let us remember, forever praise His name. [Verse 2] H is for the holy Bible, where wisdom cuts through the dark, R is for His rising, igniting that holy spark. I is for Inspiration, the sweet guiding light, That pulls us together, warms us through the night. [Pre-Chorus] S is for the sins we carry, He’s ready to forgive, T is for the time left to cherish while we live. M is for the manger where the miracle began, A is for Amen, the glory of God’s plan. [Chorus] Merry Christmas, my friend, through the laughter and the cheer, We celebrate the love that’s forever drawn near. C is for Christ, our Savior who came, Oh let us remember, forever praise His name. [Bridge] S is for the stripes, He bore all the pain, To heal our broken bodies, and cleanse us from our shame. Here’s an idea, let’s read the Bible with glee, Every page a whisper, a love song just for you and me. [Outro] Amen, Merry Christmas, everyone gather near, With hearts full of love, let’s spread joy and cheer. In the light, let us sing, let our spirits take flight, Merry Christmas to all, and a holy, blessed night.
