When you think so little of yourself, you find yourself grasping at the world's shadows, while she dances away at a pace your beating heart craves. Projecting through awareness's dimensional density fields, I find memories, patterns, and empty spaces, no matter which direction traveled. Blind with twenty-twenty vision with what I wished I kept. I follow the sounds of healing. Words pieced together from broken memories, above the darkness, beneath my shadow, in the absence of reflection, sight echoes in the silent void left by eyes too tightly clenched. What a mistake I made, what a mistake I could have taken. I felt the world without light, as something dark crawled inside to say goodbye. But, I love the angel I never said you are. Hoping, as you stumble towards her, you'll soon find embrace. Never forget, it’s you who lights up the beauty of the memory.** In the fog of discontent, despair rips through time, cracking reality over my forgotten shrine. Buried in the memory of a passing moment, tailing yesterday's missed opportunities, I progress in the mind's maze, tripping over what the heart desires, to the unknown reaches of today, I resist death's gaze, to rise from the haze, within a world physically different, and consciously similar to the time, a place weathered from either choice, existing forever.
