One More Year (한 해만 더) Based on the Parable of the Barren Fig Tree in Luke 13:6–9. 1 A fig tree stood Within the vineyard, Full of leaves, Yet bearing no fruit. The master came And searched its branches. Year after year, He found nothing there. P “For three long years I’ve sought its fruit. Cut it down now. Why waste the ground?” C “One more year, Lord, one more year. Spare this tree For one more year. I’ll dig the ground, I’ll tend its roots. Give it this time— Let it bear fruit.” 2 The keeper stayed Beside the tree. He broke the earth Around its roots. He fed the soil With patient care, And gave the tree Its time to bear. B What if that tree Were really me? What if this year Were grace for me? F “One more year, Lord, one more year. Give me this time, This year of grace. Dig through my heart, And tend my roots. While I have time, Let me bear fruit.” O One more year— Let me bear fruit.
