[INTRO — SPOKEN] But it shall come to pass… If you will not listen… If you will not obey… The same covenant that showed you the blessing showed you the consequence. Israel was warned. Now watch the blessings reverse. [VERSE 1] Yesterday blessed in the city, blessed walking through the field, Blessed everything you planted, blessed everything it yield. But a covenant got conditions, you can’t throw the words aside, Want the blessings from the Father while you turn against the Most High. Now the city feels the pressure. Now the field don’t feel the same. What was growing starts declining when rebellion enters the frame. Basket once was overflowing, now the basket running low. Storehouse used to hold provision, now there’s less of it to show. Coming in was called a blessing. Going out was blessed before. Now the words have turned against you when you won’t obey no more. That’s the part they never mention when they quote the promised land. Everybody wants the blessing. Who will follow the command? Most High told us from the beginning, there were choices we could make. Not a punishment without warning. He told Israel what was at stake. [CHORUS] We always trust in the Most High, Even when the road gets hard, we keep our heads high. Through the tears, through the years, through the long nights, We always trust in the Most High. We always trust in the Most High, When everything around us says we won’t rise. We remember the covenant, get our hearts right. We always trust in the Most High. [VERSE 2] Now the work becomes frustration. What you build don’t seem to last. Every consequence reminding there were warnings in the past. Fruit of body. Fruit of ground. Everything that once increased. When the covenant is broken, even abundance starts to cease. Look around. Something changed. But it didn’t change overnight. First you stopped hearing instruction, then you wandered from what’s right. Little compromise gets bigger. Generation teaches next. Soon the children know the culture but don’t recognize the text. That’s how memory starts fading. That’s how people lose the way. First they stop keeping commandments, then forget why judgment came. And the Most High sent the warning. It was written plain to see. Not because He never loved them, but because responsibility came together with the covenant. You can’t separate the two. If you say that you’re His people, then His law applies to you. [BRIDGE — SPOKEN] Listen carefully. This wasn’t hidden. Moses told them. The blessing was explained. The curse was explained. The choice was placed in front of the people. So when the consequences came… Israel couldn’t say they were never warned. [VERSE 3] Then comes trouble with the labor, then confusion in the mind. Things you thought would stand forever start collapsing over time. Plans don’t move the way you planned ‘em. Work don’t give the same return. Every generation living with a lesson they won’t learn. That’s the danger of rebellion when it travels through the years. What begins with disobedience eventually appears in your household, in your harvest, in the things your children see. What was meant to bring you freedom turns into captivity. But we’re not there in the story. Not yet. Understand. We’re just watching early warnings start unfolding in the land. Deuteronomy twenty-eight, read the chapter for yourself. Don’t just listen to the rapper. Go and pull it off the shelf. See the blessing. See the warning. See the choice on either side. Then remember who delivered Israel out from Pharaoh’s pride. The same Most High who gave the blessing gave the warning from the start. So before you blame the judgment, take a look inside the heart. [FINAL CHORUS] We always trust in the Most High. Even when the road gets hard, we keep our heads high. Through the tears, through the years, through the long nights… We always trust in the Most High. We always trust in the Most High. When everything around us says we won’t rise… We remember the covenant. Get our hearts right. We always trust… We always trust… We always trust… In the Most High. [OUTRO — SPOKEN] Cursed in the city. Cursed in the field. Cursed coming in. Cursed going out. And still… Moses wasn’t finished. Because what you’ve heard so far… was only the beginning. The curses go deeper. And the next part… gets harder.
