SAMUEL THE LAMANITE Remembered Through a Grandmother's Eyes [Spoken Narration — Do Not Sing] Come closer, my children. The fire is warm tonight... and I'd like to tell you about a boy I watched grow into a prophet. Many people remember Samuel standing upon the city wall. They remember the arrows that could not strike him. They remember his bold voice calling the people to repent. But I remember something different. I remember a little boy. A boy who asked questions no one else thought to ask. A boy who would stop to help someone who had fallen behind. A boy who loved to sit quietly and pray. Even then... I could see there was something special about him. As he grew older, he listened carefully whenever the elders spoke of the Creator. He learned that courage does not come from being louder than everyone else. True courage comes from listening... and then obeying... even when the whole world stands against you. One day, the Creator called Samuel to carry a difficult message. Many would reject him. Some would mock him. Others would try to silence him. Yet Samuel loved the people too much to remain silent. He climbed upon the wall... not because he wanted attention... but because he wanted every soul to hear the warning... and the invitation. The invitation to return to the Creator. The invitation to prepare for the coming of Jesus Christ. That is the Samuel I remember. Not simply a prophet upon a wall. But a humble servant who loved the Creator... and loved His children. Perhaps... that is the greatest lesson he leaves for us. Not to seek greatness. But to seek faithfulness. [Music Begins] Verse Little footsteps... Quiet prayer... Learning Heaven's Gentle care. Growing stronger... Day by day... Walking in The Creator's way. Chorus (Warm Mature Female Voice) Samuel... Faithful son... Walk the path The Lord has shown. Stand with courage. Stand with grace. What one faithful life Can truly be. Walk with kindness. Walk in Light. Trust the Lord With all your might. (Female voice gently fades with cedar flute and soft strings.)
