Grandma's Sweater Surprise

[intro instrumental] [Verse] A box so big it touched the floor Wrapped in paper we’d seen before Grandma's gift was always the same A sweater stitched with love and fame [Prechorus] But this year’s yarn had a twist What’s on this sweater we almost missed [Chorus] Is that a reindeer or a dog with wings A penguin or a pigeon trying to sing Grandma knits We guess and wonder why But laughter fills the room Oh my oh my [Verse 2] The snowman’s nose looked like a tail The bunny’s ears seemed far too frail A mystery zoo on knitted thread We wore them proudly Cheeks so red [Bridge] Grandma smiled Her glasses askew She said "I make art Not a zoo" But every stitch A story spun Of holiday joy and family fun [Chorus] Is that a reindeer or a dog with wings A penguin or a pigeon trying to sing Grandma knits We guess and wonder why But laughter fills the room Oh my oh my
