[PROLOGUE — THE WOMB THAT GLOWED] [Soft haunting soprano. A heartbeat drum. A low wolf-howl under it.] “Oooooooh… lumen in utero… Audite… ignem crescentem…” (“Light in the womb… Hear the growing fire…”) ⸻ [VERSE I — SILVER WOLF: HIS MOTHER’S CRAVINGS] Before the winter broke its spine, Before the gods revealed their sign, A mother tossed in sleepless nights— Her hunger bending into rites. She craved no bread, she craved no broth, No fruits, no herbs, no mortal cloth— But spiced red meat with dripping flame, As if the child inside her came Already knowing smoke and bone— Already carving out a throne. ⸻ [PRE-CHORUS — LATIN SOFT] Esurit flamma… vivit in matre… (“The flame hungers… it lives inside the mother…”) ⸻ [CHORUS I — FULL BAND] Burning in the womb, he kicked like fire, Twisting winter’s breath with rising ire! Ignis nascitur— lux respirat, The pregnant night bowed down to him, The child whose glow made starlight dim. ⸻ [VERSE II — RED WOLF: THE DAY OF BIRTH] When water broke, the torches flared, The air grew hot, the midwives stared; Her belly shone with ember-light, As if dawn fought inside her night. He came out screaming like a forge, A spark the frost could not disgorge. The roof-beams warmed beneath his cry— The fire roared back in reply. ⸻ [PRE-CHORUS II — LATIN STRONGER] Flamma nascitur! Infans ardet! (“Flame is born! The infant burns!”) Gelu fugit ante natum! (“Frost flees before the newborn!”) ⸻ [CHORUS II — EVEN BIGGER] He melted winter with a newborn roar, Refused the milk they offered at the door— Carne vultus! Sanguis cantat! (“He wants meat! The blood sings!”) He turned his head from mother’s breast, For fire fed him, fire blessed. ⸻ [BRIDGE I — THE REFUSAL OF MILK] They tried again, and still he turned. He wanted meat— raw or burned. He reached his tiny hand instead Toward glowing coals beside the bed. No blister marked his newborn skin. The flames curled close and called him kin. ⸻ [VERSE III — DARK WOLF: HIS TODDLER YEARS] Before he walked, he crawled to flame, As if the hearth had called his name. His parents feared the burn and smoke— Yet every ember gently stroked. He’d sit for hours by the fire, Eyes glowing with a strange desire. Other children played with toys— Noah listened to the fire’s voice. ⸻ [PRE-CHORUS III — LATIN, MALE CHOIR] Puer igneus— signum deorum, (“The fire-child— a sign of gods,”) cor ardens, manus fulgentes! (“heart burning, hands shining!”) ⸻ [CHORUS III — FULL ORCHESTRA] Born of hunger, born of heat, Born refusing mortal meat! Ignis loquitur— lux ascendit, (“Fire speaks— light rises,”) The child who played where flame should kill, The spark no winter could ever still. ⸻ [THE FINAL LIFT — FEMALE SOLO, CELESTIAL] Aaaaah… Upon his cradle danced the sun, For from this child a god would come. Aaaaah… The fire in his mother’s womb Would one day banish winter’s tomb. ⸻ [OUTRO LATIN — WHISPERED BY FOUR WOLVES] Ignis natus… ignis nutritus… (“Fire born… fire nourished…”) Ignis destinatus… (“Fire destined…”) Noah… lumen aeternum. (“Noah… the eternal flame.”)
