The sun sets in a copper sky Where the river meets the ocean wide Oh I hope they take me home [Chorus] They said that I'd never make it We're never gonna take it lying down I just wanna fly Fly Oh If you say that you love me I'm never gonna come back down I just wanna fly Fly Oh I wanna fly Fly [Verse 2] There was a time when I didn't believe In the stars or the God who made me But I don't think that way anymore We have our minds and a whole lot of love And the sky's like a blanket above Oh I know we're going home [Chorus] They said that we'd never make it We're never gonna take it lying down I just wanna fly Fly Oh If you say that you love me I'm never gonna come back down I just wanna fly Fly Oh I wanna fly Fly [Break] Silver wings Please take me home Where the river meets the ocean I just wanna fly Fly Oh Silver wings Please take me home Where the river meets the ocean I just wanna fly Fly Oh I wanna fly Fly [Chorus] They said that we'd never make it We're never gonna take it lying down I just wanna fly Fly Oh If you say that you love me I'm never gonna come back down I just wanna fly Fly Oh I wanna fly Fly [Outro] If you say that you love me I'm never gonna come back down
