[Verse 1 - Rebel Mindset] I been writing my pain on invisible pages, tryna heal from the past but it still engages me, every memory hits like it never got closure, like a ghost in my chest that keeps getting closer I walk through the noise with a quiet expression, learning silence can teach you some powerful lessons, like who stays when your world starts shaking, and who disappears when your heart starts breaking I seen dreams turn dust in a blink of an eye, seen good men give up just to learn how to survive, seen love turn cold when the timing was wrong, still I turn all that chaos into songs Cause I don’t got much but these words I’m holding, like fragments of truth in a world that’s folding, and I don’t always win but I keep on trying, even storms feel lighter when you stop denying So I speak to the night like it knows my name, tell it “I’m still here, still feeling the pain,” but pain don’t define what I’m built to be, it just sharpens the lines of my poetry [Hook] Ashes and echoes, that’s all that remain Songs in my chest still dance through the pain If heaven can hear me, send down a sign Till then I’ll turn these tears into rhymes Ashes and echoes, smoke in the air Lost a few pieces but my soul still there And even if the world don’t remember my name These poems gon’ live like eternal flames [Bridge] Ashes and echoes Ashes and echoes [Verse 2 - Ciber] Only the pot can tell you about the heat of the fire Only the road knows about the feel of the tire God and my conscience understand my moves Can't judge me if you haven't laced my shoes, These feet have walked paths that are filled with thorns But I stood firm and grabbed the bull by the horns Turned rage and pain into sweet melodies Created enchantin' harmonies from bad memories (uh) look... There's something about hitting rock bottom, When you call out for help and everyone plays possum. The clarity you get from walking alone in the dark Knowing you're the only one who's got your back That's where you learn to keep swimmin' like a shark Forge yourself into steel that doesn't falter or crack, Show 'em you're down but never out Under a dark cloud but not filled with doubt Unmoved even when thunder rumbles. Some storms come in to wash away your troubles (yeah) uh... I've created sonnets using my own pain and strife All my hurt gave birth to songs that changed my life...
