Who?! Who?! Who am I beneath? Peeling layers off but finding nothing real Who? Is there someone true these masks conceal? Every morning paint a different face to wear But the mirror shows a stranger's empty stare Just another mask today, fading away (What's left when they decay?) Who?! When the paint runs down As these faces melt and start to drown Behind this disguise Am I anyone when no one's eyes Watch me play my part As I slowly fall apart Can't remember me! (No) Lost in this masquerade I see Each reflection shows someone new Till I don't know which one is true Fragments scattered on my floor Names I don't remember anymore Practiced smiles and rehearsed lines, is this all I'll ever be? When all the masks come off, what's left of me? Can't recall the original... Just another role to play, slipping away (Which face for today?) Who?!
