essence (for greta) the rainbow cast its brief translucent light in mist arising from a waterfall i gazed out at the beauty of it all beholding it with new transfigured sight and standing in a field of flowers bright i heard their brief but still compelling call though in the course of things they are but small e'en so a source of wonder and delight as things arise and pass in measured time their essence in me always will remain no obstacles, no barriers to climb for inner vision sees things ever plain and likewise knows it ever true that i'm a vital part of all in this domain ~ a vital part of all in this domain where longing shall relinquish hungered need renewing memory with fertile seed to ever let the present moment reign when such inspired feeling i retain 'twill thence inspire thought and act and deed to evermore be free of fear or greed where inner light no more will wax or wane yes all that rises shall thereafter fall forms disappear : yet do not fail or die for essence holds the power to enthrall and with the rule of time does not comply i feel its constant, e'er enduring call and see it ever bloom 'tween earth and sky rjh 17jul2026 ~ content and illustration inspired by greta, "love and loss in natural memory" https://suno.com/playlist/651dc8ae-1c0a-4c24-bfa1-4e1abc3b34f7 illustration adapted by rjh and chat-gpt 5.5 sound design by rjh and chat-gpt 5.5 nb : this is about viewing a painting from differing perspectives : the story is what i have come to call a songwriting pas de deux : #3
