I remember the promise

If you forget the fleeting years Like the passage of fireflies Wait for the memories to break And flow before your eyes The mottled stains that fall On your heart are my oath This impetuous resilience And my refusal to let go I remember the promise That we once made Going against all the laws of the world I will live forever for you Following the path of our memories Longing for you tests my resolve If my desire for you never fades I wish to return to the very first Magical moment I remember the promise That we once made Going against all the laws of the world I will love you without regret I gave up my dreams and my heart for you Longing for you tests my resolve I want to preserve for you the warmth Of past destiny, to keep the flame alive in your eyes
