Still We Choose to Be Human

In this broken world… → この壊れた世界で… …we’re still breathing. → …それでも私たちは息をしている I see eyes that don’t feel pain → 痛みを感じない目を見ている Hands that hurt like it’s a game → 傷つけることを遊びのようにする手 They laugh while others fall → 誰かが倒れるのを見て笑う Like life means nothing at all → 命に価値がないかのように 人の涙も　血の色も → Even human tears and the color of blood 見えない人がいる → are invisible to some people 命を壊すことを → To destroy life 遊びみたいにする人が → is like a game to them It makes me want to disappear → 消えてしまいたくなる ここにいる意味さえ → even the meaning of being here Lost in fear → 恐怖の中で迷っている Still we choose to be human → それでも人であることを選ぶ それでも人でいたい → We still want to be human Even if this world is cruel → たとえこの世界が残酷でも どんなに壊れても → no matter how broken it is We choose love over violence → 私たちは暴力より愛を選ぶ 憎しみよりも愛を → love over hatred They can’t take this from our souls → それは魂から奪えない 心までは奪えない → They can’t steal our hearts I’ve seen people without a face → 顔のない人々を見た Just empty eyes in a hollow place → 空っぽの場所の虚ろな目 They step on dreams, on lives, on truth → 夢も命も真実も踏みにじる Like nothing ever mattered to them → 何も大切じゃないみたいに 優しさを弱さと呼び → They call kindness weakness 踏みつぶす人たち → and crush it でも私は知ってる → But I know それが一番強いこと → that it is the greatest strength I’m so tired of the lies → 嘘に疲れた この世界の歪み → the distortion of this world But we still rise → それでも立ち上がる Still we choose to be human → それでも人であることを選ぶ それでも人でいたい → We still want to be human Even if they call us fools → たとえ馬鹿にされても 笑われても → even if they laugh We choose hearts that still can cry → 私たちは涙を流せる心を選ぶ 涙を流せる心を → hearts that can still cry They can’t turn us into them → あんな存在にはさせられない あんな存在にはならない → We will not become like them If we become like them… → もしああなったら… それが一番の負けだ → that is the greatest defeat Then everything is lost → すべてが失われる だから → So We won’t → 私たちはならない Still we choose to be human → それでも人であることを選ぶ それでも人でいたい → We still want to be human In a world that kills the weak → 弱い者を壊す世界でも 弱い者を壊す世界でも → in a world that destroys the weak We’ll protect what’s still alive → 生きているものを守る 生きる価値を守る → we will protect the value of life Even if we stand alone → たとえ一人でも たとえ二人だけでも → even if it’s just the two of us I won’t let them take my heart… → 私の心は奪わせない… 心は、渡さない → I will not give them my heart We are still human. → 私たちは、まだ人間だ
