🕯️❄️ THE GLASS SWAN · Part 1 of 3 A cinematic neoclassical orchestra piece about the stillness before something breaks. A swan queen stands on a moonlit sea so calm it has turned to glass, holding herself so carefully that every feeling stays frozen in place. Soft, glassy vocals, a lone cello, and strings that swell slowly toward a hairline crack of light. 🪞 THE STORY: three songs, three swans, one mirror. I. The Glass Swan: longing. Everything is still. II. The Black Swan Leads: danger. The mirror cracks and the masks come out. III. The Gilded Swan: wholeness. The mirror is mended with gold. 🌙 THE MOOD: hushed, elegant and a little uneasy, like holding your breath in a moonlit hall. Slow and spacious, never rushed. 🦢 THE VISION: a dark fairy tale for Halloween, told as a ballet in three chapters: what we hold still, what breaks us open, and what makes us whole. Play them in order. [Intro: solo cello alone, bare and slow, one candle on a dark stage, long hall echo on every note] [Instrumental] [Single water drop falls into still water, rings of echo spreading] [Section 1: strings enter softly and build slowly, glass-box soprano, weightless pure head voice, wordless vocalise, long echoing tails] Ah... Ah... ah... ah... Ooh... Ooh... ooh... Ah... [Section 2: the climb, French horn rises with a wide echo, one clean electric cello answers the main cello like a second voice, bowed-glass shimmer rises under the strings, soprano held high and breathy with a ghostly echo behind her] Ooh... Ooh... ooh... Ah... Ah... ah... [Section 3: final third, a sustained mournful electric guitar enters, aching and slow, long singing sustain with a slow echo, soprano above it, wordless, her voice trailing like a reflection in water] Ah... Ooh... Ah... ah... ah... Ooh... [Outro: strings thin out, solo cello alone, the last note echoes into the empty hall, the candle goes out] [Instrumental] [Silence] [Single bowed-glass note with a hairline crack, faint and far away, one long echo fading to nothing]
