Inspired by my poem: "subsolo", read this and other poems at olhoabsurdo.blogspot.com [VERSE 1] Every second rests beneath the captive and inert hours They make of me forceps and vertex in the intention of being Ah, beautiful un-world of non-being It is so light and timely Almost a deification of non-existence [PRE-CHORUS] A sweet and foul-smelling bleeding That avenges guilt upon the flesh Dishonors the word and does not silence It merely exhales the scent of the dream of non-being [VERSE 2] I dared to enter your world Which declined into mine Green and poured into the dry punch Of the vast invention of being. Content I was born almost dead I am quite susceptible It must be this variety of generic, similar medicines [CHORUS] Perhaps it is the excess of transgenics Transients and transviads Travestied into a scene [BRIDGE] Having the pop modernity Or suffocating myself in minimalist connotat Of my crooked id It always moves me inward [fading, whispering] I was born almost dead I am quite susceptible It must be this variety of generic, similar medicines
