Starlight piercing through eternal darkness, Flickering in a vacuum meant for none. Lifeless atoms, rising to be something more, In a universe that shouldn't be. Yet here we are… As spun. Order risen out of mindless chaos? The symmetry dismissed as merely chance. As witness, we drown beneath the weight of our own treasons, We bury truth with cold contempt no measure could contain. We're moved to question the voice of reason, That claims all came from nothing. Yet our every heartbeat, every breath Protest that claim. We cast our hopes into the void, Praying we are not alone. While they say the darkness doesn't care, and feels nothing at all. We're told life was born from matter, Cold, dead, indifferent? Yet we know inside that we are something more than dust. We are here for just a moment, In this transience. Homesick… For what? We do not know. Why does this unrest follow me? These questions will not quiet, While science offers only silence. If all is just coincidence, What stirred these awakenings? If all has come from nothing, Why does this dissonance haunt me? We're told to trust the nothing, To repress this pull inside. Yet our spirits tremble Under truths we can't deny. These questions will not quiet, While science offers only silence. The void was never empty— It simply spoke… And so it was. These questions will not quiet, While science offers only silence. Ex nihilo, nihil fit… Ex nihilo, nihil fit… Ex nihilo, nihil fit… From nothing, nothing comes
