꧁♥꧂ 𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓜𝓸𝓸𝓷𝓼 𝓖𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓵𝓮 𝓣𝓪𝓵𝓮 ꧁♥꧂ Come on, Mōpuna It’s story time WoWo’s got a book And a cozy place to sit Come on close Turn the page Let’s see what happens When the nighttime comes The little dog heard something Way out beyond the door Not a bark Not a howl Not a sound he'd heard before He lifted up one little ear Then lifted up the other He listened very carefully And wondered what the night might offer The kitten saw the shadows Stretching across the floor She watched them move so slowly Then watched them move some more She blinked her bright little eyes And gave her tail a swish She didn't know what nighttime was But she thought it looked like this Sleepy little eyes Getting soft and slow Little bits of nighttime Drifting where they go I watch the room grow quiet I watch the shadows fall And when the sleepy feeling comes It settles over all Nite nite Meemeez Nite nite Meemeez The guinea pig was wondering If nighttime meant some food She heard a tiny rustle And thought that sounded good She peeked around the corner Then peeked around once more She found a little blanket And decided that was more The hedgehog didn't hurry He took his time instead He found a quiet little place And curled up by the bed He tucked his tiny nose away And made himself quite round And somehow when he did that The whole room softened down Sleepy little eyes Getting soft and slow Little bits of nighttime Drifting where they go I watch the room grow quieter I watch the shadows fall And when the sleepy feeling comes It settles over all Nite nite Meemeez Nite nite Meemeez The little dog lay down His ears were resting too The kitten tucked her paws beneath And watched the shadows move The guinea pig got cozy The hedgehog curled up tight Four little ways of seeing One very sleepy night And WoWo turned another page And Mōpuna snuggled near The pictures started getting soft The story quieter to hear The blanket felt so smooshy The pillow felt just right And tiny toes went wiggling Underneath the covers tonight One little yawn Then another One little wiggle Then another The pages turned So slow So slow The room got softer Soft And softer The animals were quiet The book was quiet And outside the window The night was quiet too Sleepy little eyes Getting soft and slow Little bits of nighttime Drifting where they go I watch the room grow quieter I watch the shadows fall And when the sleepy feeling comes It settles over all Nite nite Meemeez Nite nite Meemeez Close your little eyes now Let the nighttime stay Everything is cozy Everything's okay Nite nite Meemeez Nite nite Meemeez WoWo closed the book The story was all done Mōpuna was getting sleepy And ready for some dreams WoWo pulled the blanket up Nice and soft and high Made sure those tiny toes were warm Then gave one little sigh The pillow was all smooshy The blanket soft and warm The room was calm and cozy And safe from every storm One little wiggle Then still One tiny sleepy sigh WoWo stayed beside the bed Until those little eyes closed tight Nite nite, Mōpuna Nite nite Mimi’s ꧁⚖️꧂𝓜𝓸𝓻𝔃𝔂𝓷 ꧁⚖️꧂ ꧁♥꧂ 𝓢𝓽𝓪𝓻𝓵𝓲𝓽𝓮 𝓟𝓸𝓻𝓬𝓱 ꧁♥꧂
