The verses are in patois, telling the story of a woman who’s impossible to resist, dangerous, beautiful, and fully in control. She doesn’t need to speak loud. One look is enough. The vibe is dark, slow, and hypnotic. The Swedish chorus flips the perspective completely. Instead of trying to dominate her, it’s someone admitting they’re gone already, heart turned to stone, stuck in her spell, still wanting more. The song sits between desire and danger. A love story that everyone can see is going to end badly, but no one is willing to walk away. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [Intro] She got di venom inna eye, star… She got di venom inna eye, star… Stone heart ting… careful now… [Verse 1] Gyal step out slow, serpent crawl inna hair One look inna she eye mek di whole place fear Stone cold beauty, but di soul disappear Roman god know when di queen draw near She nuh walk pon ground, she slide like mist Lip dem sweet but di kiss cyan twist Touch get deadly, man fall inna abyss One gaze and ya lifeline dismiss She whisper soft like temple wind But she mind dark like original sin Legend write say she destined fi win Once you see har face — ya cya start again [Chorus] Medusa baby, titta inte på mig mer Du förvandlar hjärtan till sten, du gör mig helt paralyserad Du dansar genom natten som en gudinna av eld Medusa baby, du bränner ner — allt jag ser [Verse 2] Empire crumble when she step pon stage General bow, king man turn page Her whisper louder than di lion rage She write fate like she ink one page Marble statue stand up round di throne All a dem man weh she tek-get-known Bloodline royal, lineage grown But love from she feel colder than stone She nuh beg nor plead nor chase Gyal move silent wid a queen dem grace But mi swear pon Rome, one look pon she face Mi whole soul gone — mi cya replace [Chorus] Medusa baby, titta inte på mig mer Du förvandlar hjärtan till sten, du gör mig helt paralyserad Du dansar genom natten som en gudinna av eld Medusa baby, du bränner ner — allt jag ser [Bridge] She seh: “Love me?
