Talent Equal Weight in Gold

[Verse 1] Back then talent wasn't just a skill, It was weight - 75 pounds of gold for real, So when the master gave one, five, and two, He wasn't givin' talent, he was givin' fortune to you. Talent equal weight in gold, What you holdin' in your hand worth more than you know, You bury gold, you stay broke, You flip that gold, watch it grow, Talent equal weight in gold.[Chorus] [Verse 2] One man flipped it, doubled up, Other man did the same, leveled up, Last man scared, dug a hole, Buried his bag in the cold. Same gift, different mindset, One was faithful, one just left it, Don't be the one who had it and hid it.
