❄️March of the Western Elm Ent🌲
⸻ 🌫️ March Until the Sea (Lament of the Wandering Elm Ent) ⸻ [Intro — Solo Piano + Low Wind + Distant Drum Pulse] [Slow footstep rhythm… like roots pulling from frozen soil.] [Deep male whisper:] I walk where the old paths end… Where even memory turns back… Still… I go on. ⸻ [Verse 1 — Piano + Low Strings | Steady March Rhythm] I rose from shade of Fangorn deep Where ancient grief still walks in sleep The elders spoke of gardens lost Of seasons broken… love the cost They would not move, their roots held fast Bound to the weight of ages past But I was young in Entish years And hope still burned beyond my fears ⸻ [Chorus — Xylophone + Soft War Drum | Expanding Emotion] I march until the Sea is found Until the western edge of sound My branches reach through mist and rain To call lost green-hearts home again If no voice answers wind or sky Still will I walk… still will I try For somewhere roots remember me And I will not rest till I reach the Sea ⸻ [Verse 2 — Flute Motif + Piano Swells] Across wide downs of silver frost Through silent woods where paths are lost I asked the rivers, stones, and leaves But none could speak what sorrow weaves Once laughter rang in orchard light Now only stars attend my night The younger wind walks at my side A lonely guide… a patient tide ⸻ [Chorus — Fuller Arrangement | Rising Pad + Deeper Drum] I march until the Sea is found Through winter’s grief and summer’s wound Though time may wear my bark to bone Still shall I walk this road alone For somewhere far beyond the foam Lost gardens wait to call me home And if they lie beyond the west My steps will never know their rest ⸻ [Instrumental Solo — Piano + Low Flute + Drum Heartbeat] [Rhythm like distant thunder marching.] [Xylophone echoes — memory motif.] [Wind rises → sudden hush → single drum.] ⸻ [Verse 3 — Softest Section | Almost Spoken] If I must walk till mountains fall Till oceans fade and forests call Then let my roots forget their ground For love is deeper than what’s found I fear the ending of our kind A fading leaf… a silent mind Yet still beneath the darkening sky I walk… because I must not die ⸻ [Final Chorus — Cinematic Resolve] I march until the Sea is found Till final waves erase all sound Or till one voice through storm and foam Cries out at last — “You are not alone.” Then shall I root where gardens grow Where lost entwoven branches know For somewhere deep in time’s long plea A waiting heart still walks toward me ⸻ [Outro — Piano + Wind + Fading Drum] [Tempo slows like footsteps into mist.] [Final whispered line:] My Green-hearts… Wait for me. I will find thee... [Single low piano chord.] [Wind.] [Silence.] ⸻ 🌫️ March of the Western Elm (Lament of the Wandering Ent) Scene Concept A lone young Elm Ent walks across frost-silver fields beneath a dim western sky. His stride is slow but relentless. He does not wander. He follows a vow. ⸻ Backstory (Lore) Long had he listened in Fangorn to the ancient telling — of gardens lost, of Entwives gone east beyond shadow. The elder Ents spoke with sorrow, yet their roots held them fast. But he was young in the counting of Ents, and the grief within him would not sleep. So he rose and walked west. Through long winters and silent summers he has marched beneath changing stars, asking river and hill and lonely tree if they had seen the daughters of green growing things. No leaf has answered him. No root has remembered. Still he walks — for he has sworn not to return until he finds them… or the world’s end. ⸻ Author’s Note: Among the half-forgotten tales of Middle-earth there lingers a whisper: that in the western lands, near the Shire, a Hobbit once glimpsed a walking elm where no elm should stand. Perhaps it was only rumor. Perhaps it was only wind in branches. Or perhaps it was one of the last young Ents — marching alone across the long leagues of the world, seeking the lost Entwives with a patience deeper than mountains. His journey is not of despair, but of stubborn hope. He walks west toward the Sea… and if he finds nothing, he will turn and walk the world again. For some roots cannot rest while love remains unfound. ⸻
