A young bird waits for early spring, the time when she will rest. She’ll fly from where she’s wintering to settle down and nest. Yet, every year her story plays, new fledglings grow to fly. As summer nights bring autumn days they, too, will soar the sky. When they come back, they take their turn; new eggs fill every nest, Until the colder nights return, then they fly with the rest. For all of us, from birth it starts, a pattern to our days. A path to walk, with many parts, and branches in the way. Chorus: So many choices in our lives with days that seem too few. Asleep each night, the world survives, each morning rises, new. Chorus: So many choices in our lives with days that seem too few. Asleep each night, the world survives, each morning rises, new.
