Be The Reason For A Better Day A morning drive with my little one The sun was shining true and bright Nothing like spending time with my son Who knew it was time to so what’s right Found a wallet by the river Could have left it where it lay My boy was riding with me So I decided to show him a better way Kids learn by watching the way My son is just absorbing Be the reason for a better day To see him grow is so rewarding Kids learn by watching the way Be the reason for a better day Make the world a little better If you can today Sometimes it's a grand adventure Sometimes it's just showing the way Your kid is always watching More than words can say Make the world a little better If you can today Kids learn by watching the way Be the reason for a better day So I hunted the owner down The mystery was solved by reaching out I called a number I found And they asked me what’s this about It ended up being a neighbor’s Someone I never met Just down the street and around a bend I think I made a new friend I bet Kids learn by watching the way Be the reason for a better day
