“The Lasso” – There is a binding that releases — and a binding that holds tight. The first creates distance. Expression becomes a vessel. Horror is localized. The subject remains capable of acting. The other is constricting binding. The struggle itself becomes obsessive. Self-referential. When art is only self-reference, only immanence, without transcendence, a closed resonance chamber emerges. Form is no longer a container, but an amplifier in the vacuum that fills with what should have been bound. The artist becomes the medium of that which they sought to contain. The abyss looks back. As long as form creates distance, it is protection. Whoever does not perceive the true supporting reality — GOD — cannot bind the abyss. Without GOD, the abyss becomes a bottomless pit. If the gaze lingers too long, what should have been bound begins to shape the shaper. Language separates light from darkness. As long as something is formless, it is everywhere. Once it has words, it is there — in the sentence. Once it has tones, it is there — in the chord. Once it has an image, it is there — in the frame. This is the paradoxical movement: You approach, and precisely through that, distance arises. Artistic expression is neither merely liberation nor mere suppression. It is a container. Almost like a vessel: You do not see the whole ocean — you observe but a drop Containing suffering through words and expression is distance in the form of closeness. And this closeness is carried by GOD.
