GLADIATORS TO BATTLE [Intro] Hear the drums… Hear the crowd… Two men enter— Only one walks out! [Verse 1] The iron gates are opening, The daylight cuts the sand, A hundred thousand voices rise Across this ancient land. Two shadows walk into the sun, With shields and swords held high, They know the rules, they know the price— To conquer or to die. One came from the northern hills, A prisoner dressed in chains, The other fought for Rome before, With victory in his veins. They face each other silently, No hatred in their eyes, Just two men caught inside a game Where only one survives. [Pre-Chorus] The emperor raises his hand, The whole arena holds its breath. One signal from the throne above— And now they dance with death! [Chorus] Gladiators to battle! Steel against steel! Hear the thunder of the swords, Feel what warriors feel! Gladiators to battle! Stand your ground tonight! Underneath the burning sun, Two warriors fight! Hey! Hey! The crowd begins to roar! Hey! Hey! They’re coming back for more! [Verse 2] A sword cuts through the dusty air, A shield takes every blow, One stumbles hard against the wall, But still refuses to go. The other charges like a storm, His blade is flashing bright, Then suddenly he loses ground— The battle starts to turn tonight. Blood is falling on the sand, The crowd is on its feet, The northern fighter lifts his sword— His enemy lies beat. The emperor slowly turns his hand, The message now is clear: “Finish him! Give Rome its blood!” The crowd explodes in cheer. [Pre-Chorus] But something changes in his eyes, He throws his sword away. He reaches down and lifts his foe— And dares the throne to say… [Chorus] Gladiators to battle! But not as Rome commands! Two men standing side by side, With freedom in their hands! Gladiators to battle! Now the rules have changed! The crowd grows silent, watching them— The empire looks afraid! [Bridge] Then soldiers rush into the ring, Their armor shining red, The gladiators turn as one— No fear of what’s ahead. Back to back! Shield to shield! Neither man will ever yield! Step by step! Side by side! Now they fight for more than pride! The crowd begins to chant their names, The sound becomes a storm, From every corner of the stands A new rebellion’s born! [Final Chorus] Gladiators to battle! Hear the empire shake! Not for gold, not for the crown, But for the choice they make! Gladiators to battle! Raise your swords up high! You can chain a warrior’s hands— But you cannot chain his mind! Gladiators! Gladiators! Hear the thunder roll! Two men entered as enemies— And walked out with one soul! [Outro] The swords lie silent in the sand, The gates are open wide… Two gladiators came to fight— But brothers leave… side by side.
