The Boozy Balladeers take the Tinkertune Tavern stage every Saturday night. Expect spilled drinks, sore bellies from laughing, sore feet from stomping and at least one spontaneous limerick duel. Don’t feed the gnome after midnight. (Intro – spoken over rising storm sounds and crowd murmurs) “It came with the thunder, it poured like the gods… A brew forged in barrels beyond mortal odds. When the foam hit the floor—so did we.” (Verse 1) From the hills of Hopshollow to barrels of gold, Came a drink so divine, even dragons were sold. Brewed in a cauldron by monks who were blind, And blessed by a hiccuping wizard entwined. (Pre-Chorus) One sip made you bold, two made you sing, Three had you climbing the chandelier’s string! The bards cried out, “We are not worthy!” But drank 'til their songs got delightfully dirty! (Chorus – bellowed with fists in the air) Alestorm! Raise your tankards high! Golden and glowing like the gods in the sky! It’s thunder in a mug, it’s a tempest of cheer, So chug like a legend, the alestorm is here! (Verse 2) The queen of Brewgard lost her royal composure, And danced on the table with a courtly exposure. The knight spilled his vows, the priest spilled the wine— By sunrise, the choir was shouting, “One more stein!” (Bridge – spoken interlude with building drums) “We tried to contain it, we really did… But the barrels were enchanted and the gnome broke the lid.” (Breakdown – call & response): What do we want? Ayl! When do we want it? Before We Sober! What do we fear? A Dry Bartender! (Trumpet blast! Fiddle wails! Drunken chaos!) Alestorm risin'… barrels never fall… Bless this brew, and the barkeep ‘n all… (solo) (Final Chorus – faster, even louder) Alestorm! Crashin’ through the night! Foam on our faces and mugs full of might! We’re drowned in delight, no need for a cure— Alestorm is rising, and we're drinkin' for sure! (Outro – tavern choir chant, fading out like distant thunder) Alestorm risin'… barrels never fall… Bless this brew, and the barkeep ‘n all…
