Intro "They said every journey starts somewhere..." [Verse 1] Caught the first train, didn't know where it'd lead. Just followed the words that were planted like seeds. People passing by, every face looked known. Funny how a crowd can make you feel alone. Old man looked at me like we'd already spoke. I almost said his name, then I swallowed the thought. A little kid smiled, waved as I walked by. Like somehow he knew me, I just wondered why. Platform full of strangers, still the silence felt loud. Every little step pulled me deeper through the crowd. Saw a broken watch lying next to the rail. Picked it up for a second, then my whole skin went pale. No reason at all... just a feeling inside. Like that little piece of time had been mine. [Hook] Why this place feel bigger than a station? Why every corner spark imagination? Everybody moving, but I'm standing still... Like this place knows something it never will reveal. [Verse 2] Checked every schedule, nothing matched the call. Started thinking maybe I imagined it all. Then a woman walked by humming under her breath. That melody hit me like I heard it somewhere else. Couldn't place the memory, couldn't find the scene. Just a flash in my head that vanished in between. She turned and said, "Sorry," like we crossed before. I stood there frozen while she walked out the door. The broken watch in my pocket wouldn't tick. Still I couldn't bring myself to throw it in the bin. Maybe it's nothing... maybe I'm chasing smoke. Or maybe every answer starts with one small clue. As I turned to leave, I heard the speaker call... A destination I'd swear I'd never known at all. [Hook] Why this place feel bigger than a station? Why every corner spark imagination? Everybody moving, but I'm standing still... Like this place knows something it never will reveal. [Outro] Station announcement: "Now arriving... Eastgate." I've never been there. ...So why do I know exactly what it looks like?
