💡 --- ARTIST'S STATEMENT / 創作理念 ---

Rebellion isn't a clean victory. 'The Cracking Façade' is about the brutal aftermath. I drew inspiration from the dramatic art of "Bian Lian" (face-changing) to explore what happens when the mask worn for survival finally shatters. The progressive rock structure is designed to feel disjointed and unsettling, mirroring a psychological collapse. This song isn't about the joy of liberation, but the terror of disintegration—of discovering that beneath the mask, there isn't a true face, but a disorienting void of an origin maimed.

反叛並非一場乾淨的勝利. 'The Cracking Façade'是關於其後那殘酷的景象. 我從“變臉”的戲劇藝術中汲取靈感, 探索當為了生存而佩戴的面具最終破碎時會發生什麼. 前衛搖滾的結構被設計成感覺脫節和令人不安, 映照著一種心理上的崩潰. 這首歌不是關於解放的喜悅, 而是關於瓦解的恐懼—發現面具之下, 並非一張真實的面孔, 而是一個源頭已然殘缺的, 令人迷失的空洞.

The order held, the origin maimed.
Steps rehearsed in voided rooms,
No floor remembered who first stood.
The frame proceeds, assumes, resumes,
Each breath arranged for greater good.

In stations marked by polished brass,
The bearer trades a brow for brow.
The glass receives, permits to pass,
But takes no notice of the how.
All sounds arrive in structured pace,
A name engraved in foreign hand.
The heel aligns, adjusts its place,
To fit the rhythm others planned.

在由拋光黃銅標記的站台中,
承載者以一道眉宇交換另一道眉宇.
玻璃接收, 允許通過,
卻從不留意其方式如何.
所有的聲音, 都以結構化的步伐抵達,
一個名字, 被刻在異鄉人的手上.
腳跟對齊, 調整其位,
以契合他人所規劃的節奏.

[Stave III – The Fracture Without Flame]
No blade descends, no hammer raised,
Yet something gives beneath the seam.
The lacquer curls where heat was praised,
The image parts, misaligned from theme.
No claim is filed, no voice objects,
Yet sequence yields, unfit to bear.
The face once built by typed respects
Now lies misfiled in thinning air.

沒有刀刃降下, 沒有鐵鎚舉起,
然接縫之下, 已有某物屈服.
在曾被讚頌的熱度之處, 漆層開始捲曲,
影像分離, 與主題錯位.
沒有申訴被提交, 沒有聲音反對,
然序列已然崩潰, 不堪承受.
那張曾由程式化的敬意所構建的面容, 
如今, 在稀薄的空氣中被錯誤歸檔.

[Stave IV – Absence in Original Form]
No root remains beneath the print,
No signature beneath the dye.
The mouth now holds no valid hint
Of which construct it must supply.
A pivot fails. A silence stays.
Yet silence was not called to speak.
The system drops a line — then stays,
Unable now to name the weak.

印記之下, 再無根莖存留, 
染料之下, 再無簽名可辨.
嘴唇如今,  再也無法提供有效的線索,
關於它必須供給何種構造.
一個樞軸失靈了. 一片沉默存留.
然沉默, 從未被召喚去言說.
系統斷線了—而後靜止,
如今, 已無法為弱者命名.

Rebuild? No scaffold shall permit.
Restore? The mold rejects the cast.
Replace? The script no longer fits.
Remain? No record of the past.
The bearer walks — not front, not side,
Not “as” nor “for,” nor made to match.
It does not lift, nor pause to hide,
It is the face that had no latch.

修復? 模具拒絕了這個鑄件.
替換? 劇本已不再合適.
