[Spoken Word] Despite feeling heartbroken and betrayed, the Marshal stood aside. Too proud to show his sorrow in the the light of their joy. The years passed quiet-ly until one fateful day Carter heard tell of a coach being robbed. He rode out to the Brand Family's little desert ranch to confirm his suspicion. With Brand away he believed his old friend returned to his old lawless way.
