[Verse 1] A glass of gold Heart of ease Cooling down In the evening breeze Kicked off my shoes Phone facedown Let the small stuff Drift out of town [Chorus] I’m doing exactly what I please Just me and this lazy air At peace No plans No rush Just quiet release I’m here I’m here In the evening breeze [Verse 2] Neighbors laugh Through the thin backyard fence Dog on the porch Half-asleep Half-sense Sky turns peach Then a deeper blue I don’t need more Than this simple view [Chorus] I’m doing exactly what I please Just me and this lazy air At peace No plans No rush Just quiet release I’m here I’m here In the evening breeze [Bridge] Let tomorrow chase Who it wants to chase (oh) Tonight every second Finds its perfect place [Chorus] I’m doing exactly what I please Just me and this lazy air At peace No plans No rush Just quiet release I’m here I’m here In the evening breeze
